Currently, I have been inspired by the use of color. Preferably I would use a translucent material like resin to present the color tones. It made me think of how the base of digital imagery is made up of simple pixels. Although the use of color must be done right, otherwise a person could become overwhelmed...
I looked at Spencer Finch's "The River the Flows Both Ways" that is on display on the NY Highline. Each square represents the various colors of the Hudson River from the different angles of the photos he took in his helicopter ride.
